BCA Webinar: Cold Brew Coffee – How to Support a Growing Market

The British Coffee Association invites you to a webinar on Cold Brew Coffee, where we will be joined by President & CEO of the National Coffee Association of the US, Bill Murray.

Cold brew refers to the extraction process rather than the final served coffee.

With cold brew, the coffee is extracted at cooler temperatures. It doesn’t refer to coffee which is extracted at a high temperature, and subsequently cooled down for consumption.

NCA recently created a Cold Brew Toolkit – a suite of resources to help coffee businesses brew, store, and serve cold brew coffee safely, whether you’re a manufacturer of cold brew products or serving them in coffee shops.

The toolkit includes technical guidance on product descriptions, food safety, shelf-life and storage, regulatory compliance, and more.

During the webinar, we will hear more from Bill about NCA’s work, discuss how this could inform activity here in the UK, and be able to pose any questions you may have during a Q&A.

We hope to begin a dialogue surrounding the Cold Brew market in the UK and how the BCA can support it.

Date: Thursday 13th July 2023Time: 2pm – 3pm (BST)
